Our team is the foundation of our success, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to help keep our facility and equipment operating at peak performance.
Position Overview:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility infrastructure. This includes performing routine preventative maintenance, responding to equipment failures, and collaborating closely with production teams to ensure timely and high-quality output. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems
Repair equipment as needed in the event of breakdowns
Follow all emergency procedures during equipment failure situations
Maintain and oversee the upkeep of facility systems and production equipment
Work in partnership with production teams to support efficient and safe operations
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
Troubleshoot motor controls, including HMI’s and PLC’s
Identify and resolve issues with automation components (HMI, PLCs, I/O modules, VFDs)
Recognize and work with communication systems on automation devices
Conduct basic PLC programming and modifications
Develop and implement projects to improve equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency
(Preferred) Perform sanitary welding when necessary
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or a related field (preferred)
3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting (required)
Prior experience in food production or bakery environments is a plus
Required Skills and Certifications:
Preventative maintenance of machinery and building systems
Repair of equipment due to breakdowns
Troubleshooting of motor controls (HMI’s and PLC’s)
Diagnosis of automation components (HMI, PLCs, I/O, VFDs)
Basic PLC programming
Preferred Skills:
Sanitary welding experience
Strong understanding of food safety and production quality standards
Familiarity with automation communication protocols and systems
